By the lake.

These pictures were taken by my dear friend Bryan at a near by lake. As you can see we got there just in time for the sunset and it was simply stunning!

These shoes are my favorite and the wool skirt is just perfect for fall!

Yesterday was a great example of a nice day here on Long Island. My friends and I decided to take some pictures at hiking trail by my house and it was tons of fun. We goofed around A LOT and poor Bryan got bit like crazy by mosquitos. 

(I had no idea that they where still around here in October! What the heck?!)

Anyways, my friends and I always talk about how wonderful it was to grow up in Long Island because we've got awesome beaches and the beauties of places like Montaulk. OH and did I mention we have on of best cities in the world about an hour away!? How awesome is that?

Blue flowers.

 I'm wearing a dress that my mom found recently at a yard sale,

 she thought I would love it so she bought it for me. How very nice of her! I absolutely love the length of the dress and the awesome blue flower print on it. It would have been nicer if I would have gotten it in the summer because it has spaghetti straps but a little layering does the trick. I can't wait to figure out all the different ways to wear it!

I'm considering getting a new camera. The picture quality is just not the same, and it stinks at taking pictures in low light. All of this is really getting on my nerves!! haha

 If I keep saving up and I sell the one I currently have I should have a new one in the near future. :)

lovely boots.

Yesterday I got so lucky and found these awesome boots at a near by Salvation Army. They fit perfectly and they have never been used. They have the nicest gold detailing and the leather is an awesome shade of gray. Oh and did I mention they were only 6 bucks? SCORE! 

I can't wait to wear them! 

I leave you here with a band that I have been basically listening to every night (sometimes even at 4am when I cant fall asleep, I know it's not good... i'm working on it!). Peaking Lights has a wonderful album called 936 that is definetly worth checking out. The husband and wife duo make such wonderful music with instruments and effects handmade by themselves!
