One of my favorite ways to stay cool in the summer is to spend some time wandering through book stores. It's a great alternative and I'm surprised I don't see more people in them! I found some pretty interesting books on this day, are you guys doing any summer reading?

Sperry / Vogue Event

A couple of weeks ago I got the chance to visit the Vogue offices in NYC to style two outfits for an event they hosted for Sperry Top- Sider. It was awesome meeting some of the other bloggers there and seeing how they incorporated Sperry's into their outfits. I got the chance to leave the event with my own pair and I can't wait to show you guys in an upcoming post!

Things have been pretty hectic over here and I haven't been updating but no worries I'll be sure to get back to normal pace soon!

 ....I'm wearing something other than a dress or skirt?! 

Yes, it is very hot here in NY but these American Apparel pants are my favorite and I'm willing to deal with the crazy heat to still wear them. Paired off with this silk tank from Urban Outfitters I bought a couple of years ago I still manage to stay a little cool!
