The holiday season is my favorite time of the year.

I spent thanksgiving with my family in Florida this year and I wore this outfit (I took these pictures in NYC before I left). It was a lot warmer down there so I didn't wear the button down shirt underneath the dress. It just goes to show how easy it is to make your favorite sleeveless dress more seasonal appropriate.

I have tons of homework and studying to do

Today it feels like a strange spring day here in NYC.

We have all the colorfull leaves on the ground but sunny 64 degree weather.

It's a bit strange but I can't complain because soon we will be in our low 30's! (Screams and crawls back into bed!)

Anyways, Lets talk about this bag- Since the school semester is winding down for me I find myself carrying more stuff now then ever! My Brahmin tote bag is great for carrying all my books and my laptop and the little compartments make it super easy to organize. I usually stay away from bold patterns but when I saw this outfit on Missguidedus.com I could not resist! I thought that paring it with stockings it would still look great and since it's been getting so cold here in NYC I almost had no other choice!

I woke up before the sun had come up to take these (awesome) pictures with my boyfriend. He came up with the idea of taking some photos on top of the roof while the sun was rising. Didn't they come out great? I especially loved how the colors of the sky go perfectly with my Fossil bag.

Fossil at Vogue event!

 Earlier this week I was invited by Vogue to a special event they hosted for Fossil.
Fossil's Fall collection is filled with versatile, colorful pieces that I instantly fell in love with. The bloggers there where assigned to style an outfit and incorporate there favorite Fossil piece. As I was walking around the room I was drawn to their metallic Sidney satchel and from then on the outfit all came together very easily. I thought the outfit looked like something you could see Blair Waldorf wearing sitting at the steps of the Met. Don't you agree?

On campus

During NYFW the awesome girls at LookMazing came from LA to do some coverage and while they where here they did some interviews with there favorite bloggers and guess what?! I was one of them!

We got to shoot right on campus at the Fashion Institute of Technology and it was fun talking about fashion week madness and school with them. Stay tuned for the video!

This past Monday was my first day back at school! As some of you girls may know I go to the Fashion Institute of Technology and I'm in my senior year! And wow, I can't believe how quickly time flies by. I remember as if it was yesterday I was walking to campus for orientation and I was a bundle of nerves!  It actually took me a while for it all to sink in that I was going to my dream school, studying something I'm passionate about and that I had my best friend Ashley right there with me. These past years at FIT have been great and even though it is easy to complain about little things at that school being there has really showed me how important it is to stick to your goals and work hard to achieve them. I hope everyone that is going back to school has a great year- the sky is the limit so keep dreaming!

So a couple of weeks ago the lovely people at Nifty Thrifty invited me over to there warehouse in Brooklyn. I got to pick through all there vintage stock and pick some stuff out for myself! Needless to say I was in heaven! They have over 300,000 pieces of vintage so you're bound to find something you like! I've been searching for a very long time for an authentic Mexican embroidered dress and over at Nifty Thrifty they had plenty to choose from! Go take a look for yourself, you will not be sorry!
