Ever since I was 17 years old, one of my favorite things to
do in New York City is go to Williamsburg in Brooklyn on the weekends and just walk
around. Williamsburg is one of those neighborhoods that on every block there
seems to have something fun/ interesting going on. There’s never a dull moment.
I know a lot of people say this and I will not be the last
one to mention it but Williamsburg has changed SO much. I remember when 8 years
there was no Starbucks, high risers, super fancy restaurants in this neighborhood
and there was a Salvation Army right outside the subway station that would
always have a gem inside waiting for you to find it.
But as time goes on, things inevitably change. And that’s okay.
Sometimes I just miss the true bohemian
air that use to be in that neighborhood.
